Why Secret Church?
When we think of "church" in America, we think of going to meet at a building, singing, praying and hearing a message from a Pastor or teacher. But in many places around the world, "church" meets in a home, an apartment, even in secret. These small groups of Christ-followers often meet for many hours in study, prayer and fellowship, as it is dangerous to travel to "church" and they want to make the most of their time together.

Secret Church is our "house church," where we meet periodically for an intense time of Bible study--lasting 4-6 hours--and prayer for our persecuted brothers and sisters across the globe. This is not for the uncommitted or faint at heart. But if you desire to know God more deeply through His Word, and know His Church more fully around the world, then please join us for Secret Church.

Secret Church Mysteriously Returns November 7
From 6:00 p.m. until Midnight at Brook Hills we will come together for a powerful night of Bible study unlike anything you have experienced. Dr. David Platt will lead an intense, 6-hour study on “The Mystery of the Holy Spirit”.

God will use this focused time of study to enrich our knowledge of His Word as we gain understanding of the state of His Church and our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world. Secret Church is not for the faint of heart. The objective is for you to pass along what you learn to others, so that you can make disciples of Christ--both locally and globally.

What About Childcare?
Secret Church is a 6-hour intensive Bible study meeting from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Because of the length of the meeting, and the late hour, childcare at the church is not available.

Adults Only, Please
We do not recommend Secret Church for those under age 13 because of the length of the study. Also, because some images of the persecuted church around the world used during the prayer time may be a bit graphic, parents should use caution when bringing minors to Secret Church.

Casual, All Are Welcome
Dress for Secret Church is casual--come as you are. We welcome Christ-followers and others from around the area who may wish to study with us at Secret Church on these selected Friday evenings.

Offering for the Persecuted Church
Each Secret Church meeting, we'll focus on the persecuted church in a different region of the world. Following a video update, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of a special offering which will help persecuted congregations in that region of the world through Brook Hills' Global Disciple-Making ministries. Participation in the offering is optional.
